Matthew Shea

Matthew is a Baltimore-based actor, writer and director, originally from Lancaster, PA. He moved to Maryland to study acting at Towson University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Arts. In 2011 he was a presenter at the Making Tomorrow’s Theatre conference at the Grotowski Institute in Wroclaw, Poland, where he demonstrated the Rasaboxes training technique. After graduating from Towson, Matthew served as the Company Management Intern at Center Stage during their 50th Anniversary Season. He has worked as an actor and playwright in both Baltimore and Washington DC ever since. Matthew made his Single Carrot debut in 2015 as Jeremiah in Jen Silverman’s Phoebe in Winter.
