Anna, after being diagnosed with an incurable disease, ATD or "Acquired Toilet Disease", embarks on an odyssey through Europe and the limits of her imagination. Her brother, Carl, desperately searches for a life-saving medication, but gets caught in a myriad of dangerous situations involving European espionage. Anna traipses through Europe using promiscuity and indulgence to protect herself from the reality of her disease. Along the way, the siblings encounter a "Third Man" who is a manifestation of Anna's fantasy world, and is both the harbinger of their hope and doom.
